Uttarakhand as we know a state of culture and elegant beauty. To raise the value of authenticity Uttarakhand Government has establish an International Cricket Stadium. The name given to the Stadium is Rajiv Gandhi International cricket stadium dehradun. Also, the Stadium is multi-purpose but mostly hosts cricket matches.
It is also call by the name of Dehradun Cricket Stadium and Raipur Cricket Stadium. The Stadium is inaugurat in December 2016. It is only International Cricket Stadium in Dehradun and the first one International Stadium in Uttarakhand. Along with this other sports and national functions also occur in the stadium.

Another important feature of the International Stadium is Doon Sports Club doing the seating arrangement. The seating capacity of the stadium is 25,000 people. Along with arrangement resembles Aipan and a traditional Kumaoni art. The year of 2019, the first ODI match hosted and it series in the Stadium.
The matches were a part of bilateral cricket series between Afganisthan and Ireland held from 21st February to 19th March. The series started with the three T20 matches. Also with five one-day matches and ended with a test match. The first ODI took place on 28 February 2019 and the first test series was held from 15-20 March 2019 between Argentina and Ireland.

The location of the stadium is near Raipur area on the Thano road. The road also connected to the Airport of Jolly Grant and Rishikesh Road.

After landing in the Jolly Grant Airport you can easily take a cab and come easily to the stadium via Thano Road. You can come through via bus and other means also.
