The Hyatt Regency Hotel Dehradun is located in the Himalayas’ foothills. It offers 263 rooms on 7 floors and 4 distinct food & drink venues. The hotel’s 3115m2 (333500 sq ft) of event space includes the Regency Ballroom and Regency & Lawns, Vista Lawns as well as 3 Studios, Pinnacle Lounge and 1 boardroom.
The property with 263 keys opened its doors in March. It is Hyatt’s first venture in Uttarakhand. All the rooms in the deluxe, regency and executive suites have marble bathtubs. Club rooms also come with a patio or balcony with views of the mountains. Pharmacopoeia offers vegan toiletries, glass water bottles made from their own plant, as well as organic teas and coffees by T-Tales. The hotel is equipped to accommodate visitors of all ages and genders. There are 24 suites and 37 club rooms with balconies. Hyatt Regency has 33,500 square feet for destination banquets. There are two restaurants and two specialty bars to choose from. Imagine you are a shopaholic and don’t have the time to visit the local alleyways of Mussoorie’s Mall Road or Dehradun’s Paltan Bazaar. The property offers local art and spices as well as a small market.
Modernity is abundant in this area. The auto-sensing lamps installed in rooms will tell you so. The cold touch of technology is not overwhelming, however. The property will inform you that the water you consume is recycled at its water plant, and it is offered to you in glass bottles.
The view is another consideration. No matter where you are located, every room has a view of Mussoorie’s mountains. The spacious bathtubs provide a relaxing retreat from a long day. I only wish that the designers could have arranged the glass partitions so that you can enjoy the views from the tubs.
You will find the rooms and suites you would expect in a five-star luxury hotel. This is a fitting tribute to Dehradun’s status as Delhi’s coolest getaway destination. There is an excellent spa, and infinity pool.
If you are traveling with children, Camp Hyatt would keep them entertained. This is the type of activity you want your children to engage in more, especially with the advent of video conferencing school programs.

Hyatt Regency Dehradun is a great place to stay. It offers every modern convenience on the old road from Uttarakhand’s old valley all the way to the romance of Mussoorie. It is the perfect halfway point and could even be considered a strategic masterclass in being in the right place.
