Clock Tower Dehradun
Clock tower is a landmark and is a major attractive location in the city of Dehradun. Locally also called the Ghanta Ghar, it is located in the center and is surrounded by commercial centers like GPO, shops, six face clock tower with each face clock, this monument stands long before independence.

A prominent place in Dehradun city, Dehradun’s Clock Tower is located on Rajpur Road. The names of the freedom fighters of Dehradun are engraved in a gold plaque on the Clock Tower. The Clock Tower also marks the city center of Dehradun and all major commercial centers are easily accessible from here. Chakrata Road, Paltan Bazar Rd, Rajpur Road and Haridwar Road meet at Clock Tower. Unfortunately, impressive watches are no longer working. The first chimes of the clock were audible from far off places in the hill town.
How To Reach Ghanta Ghar
Clock Tower is located in the centre of Dehradun city. Almost all city buses and auto (locally known as Vikram) pass through or nearby Clock Tower. The nearest railway station is at Dehradun railway station (2 km) and airport at Jolly Grant Airport (26 km).
